The battle inside us is liken to a battle between two wolves,
One of whom is evil, full of anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, hypocrisy, self-pity, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.
The other is good, full of remembrance of Allah, faith, joy, peace, love and compassion, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity and truthfulness.
Which wolf will win the battle?
THE ONE THAT WE FEED !!
Watch your thoughts; they become words
Watch your words; they become actions
Watch your actions; they become habits
Watch your habits; they become character
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
God is Most Kind ,
He does not punish the disobedience of His servants instantly
God allows them to be on their own first
God is giving them a chance to think, to be mindful and to realize
God make them see with their own eyes various incidents
Incidents which are either positive or negative to make them heedful and realize
Or God is punishing them little by little
or occasionally on them so that they understand
After going through various lessons and yet they still do not realize
God will then suspend all the pleasures and grace
Like a sudden death, prolonged paralysis , heavy misfortune
Disarray in the family , where there is no love and affection between them
Or God just leaves them without being punished
After they are gone, only then they will be punished severely
Punishment like a painful death, sufferings in the grave , torment in the Field of Mahsyar ,
and the peak of all sufferings is Hell
Do take note of this narration
While we are still alive, we still do have time to conceive and correct ourselves
The time is not yet too late
Do return quickly to God
Do fear Allah and love Him
Do love and care for each other among mankind
What more among our own families
Once we have departed, the door to all opportunities for us to correct ourselves is closed
Do be sensible and realize from now before it’s too late
What is it that we own?
Everything there is
All belong to Allah
There is nothing that we own
We only put in our efforts
Whatever that we get
Allah has prepared for us
We belong to Allah
This world is His creation
We can own anything
It does not miss to be one of His creations
What is it that we own?
There is nothing that we own
We simply make efforts
With what is already there
Why are we arrogant?
To own what belongs to Allah
Why are we not shameful?
Towards Allah the Owner
We should be grateful to Allah
Who gives us everything
We should be shameful towards Allah
To own belongs to Him
We should not feel proud
Whatever that we have
If Allah do not give us
We do not have anything at all
We should not bring up the past
To bring up our good deeds of the past
Our good deeds with Allah
In reality, all do belong to Allah
Let us be grateful
Instead of feeling proud
Feeling grateful towards Allah
We should not bring up our good deeds of the past
We should make use of the benefits and pleasures from Allah
To serve Him
Then we should simply forget them
So that we will not bring it up again
To look after our heart is weary indeed
Even when we are cautious
When people praise us, our heart blooms like a flower
When people look down on us, it is painful like we are being poked or stabbed with a dagger
When we do good deeds
We feel excited and very eager to share the stories
We feel depressed when the stories are not shared
There is glamour
There is name
O, how unfortunate if the stories are not shared
While giving a speech, we notice the audience nodding their heads
“I am quite good actually!” the heart whispered
When seeing someone else with special abilities
Ouch! It feels like swallowing a bitter fruit
The heart wrinkles extending to the face
Or the face turns sour like vinegar
When seeing friends with weaknesses
The heart feels excited to gossip or ridicule
Ouch! It is very difficult to look after our hearts
Ouch! Where is sincerity
And yet, God’s view is at our hearts
I seek protection with Allah from the condemned syaitan.
In the name of Allah the Most Compasionate Most Merciful.
Wa ash-hadu an Laa ilaaha ill-Alláh, wahdahoo laa shareeka lah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan‘abduhoo warasooluh”
Praise be to Allah, the Compassionate, Who made known the Qur’an, Who created man, and taught him utterance.
We praise Him and we seek help from Him. We ask forgiveness from Him. We repent to Him; and we seek refuge in Him from our own evil and bad deeds. Anyone who is guided by Allah, he is indeed guided; and anyone who has been left astray, will find no one to guide him. May peace and blessings be upon the noblest of prophets, Muhammad SAW, who was sent to be a mercy for mankind.
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the Only One without any partner; and I bear witness that Muhammad, SAW, is His servant, and His messenger.

” Just as there are signs within yourselves, can you not then, see?”
Dear members of congregation,
Today, please let all of us seek and see the miracles which Allah has bestowed within ourselves. Within your body, Allah has filled it up with miracles.
If you observe closely and if your soul is alive, also if your mind is playing its role, you will certainly realize that within yourself, it is full of miracles and wisdom. In fact within you, physically and spiritually, it is the source of all things. It the source of wealth both for this world and Hereafter.
With various parts of your body, they are the source of knowledge and experience. They are also the source of enjoyment and happiness, the source of wealth in this world in material form and in physical progress. Your physical and spiritual body are also the source of iman and taqwa which will bring wealth in Hereafter.
Your body is the source for you to know God, the Creator of the universe and your own self. Your body is the source of all goodness in this world and Hereafter.
Within you is a source for research. At your body, there are verses from verses of Allah. Here you can see the power and wishes of Allah Taala. You can see His Greatness and His governance. You can feel His knowledge.
Within you, you can feel God’s grace and pleasures. If you realize all the things mentioned above, ouch! You will be really embarrassed with God, you will really feel lowly about your own self. You feel eternally grateful, you will have love and fear towards Him. You will be conscious of God, your feelings for God may never be forgotten. Wherever you go, you feel that you are a mere humble servant who truly needs God’s protection.
Ya Ay-yuhal-latheena ‘aamanut taqul-laaha, wa qooloo qawlan sadeedaa. Yuslih-lakum a’maalakum wayaghfir lakum thunoobakum, wamay yu-til-laaha warasoolah, faqad faaza fawzan atheemaa.”
O You who believe, – Be aware of Allah, and speak a straightforward word. He will forgive your sins and repair your deeds. And whoever takes Allah and His Prophet as a guide, has already achieved a mighty victory.
Man first created from clay and that his seed was made from a drop of despised fluid.
That he was created from a handful that Allah collected from all parts of the earth, so that it contains the good and the evil, the easy going and the intolerant, the liberal and the miserly. It was Jibreel who took this handful, then it as fermented until it turned to mud, then Allah fashioned man as He deemed fit. Then He breathed into him o His spirit, so that he was a human of flesh and blood, talking and reasoning…Later on Allah had His angles prostrate themselves before man, and taught him names of everything.
That he was blessed with intellect, knowledge, understanding, eloquence and speech.
That he was privileged with the quality of modesty.
That he was privileged with the two means of expression, the oral and the written.
That he was endowed by Allah with the power of acquiring knowledge by several means
That he was distinguished with certain motives and impulses that serve to accomplish what is good for man.
That man was distinguished with strength, desire and will.
That Allah’s commandments are to be permanently observed until the day the man meets His our Lord
That man was not created without purpose.
That man is distinguished from the other creatures in appearance and shape.
That man is an indivisible whole: composite of soul, mind and body
Before a grain of cooked rice appear before us, the entire machinery of God’s government use up their energy to produce the rice. If we do realize this, we will not have the heart to degrade even a single grain of rice.
Let’s us follow the journey of a single grain of rice which is God’s creation, until it becomes a grain of cooked rice. The farmers or the farm workers spread the millions of padi seedlings in their nursery, the padi seedlings which have already existed hundreds of centuries ago, it has not yet gone through extinction. On which day and on which date this seedling was sent down to earth, only the Creator knows. Every single day the farmer, the farm workers who are mostly poor, water and look after their seedlings.
In fact behind this , under Allah’s command, the angels are the ones who protect and take care of the growth of these plants, which is a fortune from God for human beings. God commands the roots of padi plants… Move along!!..Creep along!!.. Break them down!!.. The gravels of soil in My earth turn into fine granules. The mineral molecules and water creature… OBEY as commanded, with ABSOLUTE LOYALTY in service, flowing through earth, seeping through the roots without any questions asked.
The MIRACULOUS sun, which has never shut off its light, ever since it was created, emits its sunshine over the green leaves, for the sake of photosynthesis the invisible oxygen molecules in the air, are also being drawn in by the green creatures for its respiratory process. Time which is God’s creation, then allows the padi fruits to ripen, to be reaped as its harvest.
Thousands of farmers or workers who manage the machines used in the fields, in the factories, the staff handling the logistics for transport, the warehouse, the supermarkets, the retailers, all of them are God’s creatures who helped to deliver even a single grain of rice to us. Have we, as Allah’s servants, ever ponder over a scoop of rice on our plate, where does it come from, who planted the seeds into the earth…and so on and so forth?
Whenever there is food spread before us, we should feel humble, being thankful towards God, recite a du’a for all the farmers, fishermen, vegetable growers, the shopkeepers, the cooks and everyone who helped to provide this pleasures to us.
How Most Kind Allah is to us. Indeed, no matter how wealthy a human being is, he is incapable of living alone by himself.
Night and day are in succession constantly
Morning and evening come and go
This is Sunnatullah, Allah’s law in force in this world
No one is able to hold and prevent
This is Allah’s power and His ability
So that humans feel concern and be conscious
So that humans fear Him
In fact human beings need God
Difficulty and comfort are also in succession
Sickness and health are similar too
Pleasure and pain come and go
Human beings should learn from all these events
Do continually reflect into our hearts
Because it is a source of good and evil
A receptacle for disbelief and belief
Something to be fought for between the angels and demons
The heart, its feelings is delicate
Its touch could not be felt
But it greatly affects our lives
Whoever is well versed with the journey of his heart
Understands its goodness and evilness
And seriously struggle to remove his evilness
And immediately replace it with goodness
That person will be safe from the trickery of the devil and the world
Many people do not understand the journey of their hearts including the scholars
They simply accept the good and the bad
And then to feel that everything is good
And no longer feels sinful
Here is where the need for guidance from a spiritual teacher
who knows the heart of human beings
The world is filled with all kinds of crises
There is no country which is free of crisis
Political crisis, economic crisis
Moral crisis, value crisis
Household crisis, social crisis
Racial, ethnic and tribal crisis
Life is full of fear, wherever we go there is concern
Peace and security no longer exist
Love and harmony has disappeared
Please wake up O religious scholars, leaders and intellectuals, to address the crisis
If is not a political crisis, it is a moral crisis
If it is not a social crisis, it is a family crisis
If it is not a value crisis, it is a tribal crisis
Would someone facing crisis be the one to handle the crisis?
Would the one causing problems be able to settle the problems?
Would criminals be able to get rid of crimes?
O Allah, please send the savior immediately
So that the world will be peaceful again
The ones available at present are all destructive individuals and criminals
When knowledge is given
Even if there is guidance, it is incomplete
Human beings may succeed to become clever and competent people
They are developed in various aspects of life
Their living facilities are very comfortable indeed
Their material civilization are awesome
However, with the progress, there is jealousy
With luxury, kindness is missing
Human beings become arrogant, haughty and selfish
Human beings tend to show off, seeking for name and glamor
Humanity is ruined, tolerance is destroyed
Society becomes very individualistic
Crimes occur day in day out
Fraternity disappears, love and care is ruined
Finally, with progress and development, life is full of fear
With civilization, fear and anxiety invading daily
In the end, human beings lose their happiness
Therefore, knowledge should be simple, guidance must be perfect
If knowledge is abundant, while guidance is complete, that is the most favorable
At this present time, while searching for knowledge, guidance is neglected
As a result, many human beings appear to be very intelligent
But their personal character, more like animals and satan
Or the least, the way they live are liken to the trees in the forest.
